MEP: BLAIR MUST CONDEMN COLLECTIVE PUNISHMENT
ISRAELI ATTACKS ON POWER PLANT ARE ‘UNACCEPTABLE’, SAYS LUCAS
GREEN Party Euro-MP Caroline Lucas has called on Tony Blair to condemn
Israeli attacks on a power plant that have turned off the lights in
thousands of Gaza homes.
“Acts of collective punishment of the Palestinian people are a clear breach
of international law and the Government make sure those responsible are
brought to justice,” said Dr Lucas, who is a member of the EU’s delegation
to the occupied Palestinian territories.
Speaking ahead of a vigil outside the House of Commons taking place later
