We would like to invite you to a student seminar on making London a sustainable city at City Hall on the 27th January 2006. The event will give you a chance to hear some of the Capital's leading environmentalists set out a blueprint for transforming London into a truly sustainable city.
The Green Party Members of the London Assembly will be hosting the event and talking about our work to make London more sustainable. Other speakers include:
Jim Footner, Greenpeace climate campaigner on the potential of decentraliZing energy in London
Richard Bourn, Transport 2000 London campaigner on sustainable transport in London
Louise Hazan, People and Planet, on greening London's universities
Steve Shaw, Local works on the campaign for the Sustainable Communities Bill
Making London a Sustainable City is FREE and will take place in the main Assembly Chamber of Norman Foster's City Hall on Friday the 27th January 2006 between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
